Visitors

We had family come visit us!!!!! Extended family even, they must really love us! Grandma Kathy (or I guess it's Great-Grandma Kathy now) and Aunt Natalie and two of her kids, Jackson and Ally all came from San Diego and they brought Nana (who came all the way from Seattle) with them.  Yay, we LOVE visitors (hint, hint)!!!  We had lots of fun playing at the park and just hanging out making fishy faces!  While everyone was here we also got to celebrate Natalie's birthday and eat yummy cheesecake (thanks Ashley for the recipe).  We had soooo much fun together and we really hope that they come again soon!!!

Valentine's Day cards

I found this idea for V-day cards here.  The girls were a big help with this project.  And I think that it turned out pretty cute!  One thing that I would do differently next time is sort the crayons with similar colors together, then it would be easier to use the new heart crayons afterwards.

solids

Tason started eating solids today! Greg and I normally wait a little bit longer to start this phase, but Tason is a very hungry BOY!!!  Not only was he watching us eat while chewing on invisible food, but he wants to nurse ALL the time.  So we felt that Tason was definitely ready.  And our pediatrician already gave us the go ahead at our last visit.  Though Dr. Hilal recommended if we started solids before 6 months to introduce fruits and veggies first, then at 6 months introduce the cereals. So Tason's first food was.......
green beans and he LOVED them.  Yay, happy baby = happy family!!!

These are some of the funnier outtakes from the (over 30) pictures that we took of Tason to document him being 4 months old.  See, he's not always smiling, but he sure knows how to keep the rest of us smiling (laughing)!  For the ones that made the cut, stay continued (sorry, inside joke)...

So I'm finding out that fingers are just as yummy as thumbs.  I didn't know.  But Greg did and now Tason knows too!  How cute is that!!!!  Tason already wants to be just like his daddy!
