Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at home this year, all by ourselves. It was great!  We stayed in our jammies half the day.  The kids did get up nice and early, but entertained themselves by making a fort in the living room, while mom and dad got to sleep in a little. Greg did have to drag himself out of bed for a little Turkey Bowl!
We decided to have ham for dinner, since we are having turkey for Christmas, and it was pretty good. The kids were awesome helpers all day; with cooking and setting the table, entertaining themselves and each other, and just being cute!  It was a great day, we might just do it again next year!

Lions...

Today we went to the MGM to see the lions. While we were watching them through the glass, Greg noticed that one of the lions was watching Tason.  Every time Greg would move Tason, the lion's head would turn a little towards him.  All of a sudden the lion got up in a pouncing position, then raced across the whole exhibit straight to where Tason was pressed up against the glass.  She wouldn't take her eyes off of him.  Then Greg walked over to the other side of the exhibit and wiggled Tason around near the glass.  As soon as the lion saw Tason, she ran over to him.  Greg did this 3 times while we were there and every time the lion ran over to Tason.  Even when Tason was lifted up, the lion stood up on her back legs to be level with Tason.  It was sooo crazy and kinda scary!!!  I really hope that the lion thought that Tason was a super cute baby and NOT a super yummy snack!

Just wanted to show off my scrapbook page:

GOOOOOAAAAAL!!!

This is the last soccer game this season. And Avalyn scored her first GOAL!!!  It's the extra large picture, Avalyn is hidden behind the girls in blue.  And the ball is not quite past the goal line yet, but I assure it did go in, after I snapped the picture.  Avalyn was sooooo happy, I wish that I would have remembered to get a picture of her HUGE smile!  She also received the good sport award from the referees after the game.  The Stingers finished off the season undefeated!  Later that night the girls had their awards banquet.  Not only did they receive their participation trophies, they also got the sportsmanship award for the whole U-8 girls division!!  Way to go Stingers!

Sickies

This is what sick, looks like at our house right now:

Avalyn looks totally fine, maybe a little sad.  Briley looks pretty sick.

Shallon looks like a sickie, poor thing!!! And Tason, even though he has a fever and can't hold anything down, is still running around and playing like he's fine!
