Happy President's Day

Ok seriously, I wouldn't get any crafts done, if I didn't live by Amie! I didn't know how easy freezer-paper stenciling was. We found the idea for this one here. We each have 4 kids, so we decided to do the Mt. Rushmore presidents. I think that they turned out really cute!

Tason...

Just some random pictures of our little man.  We kinda like him, if you can't tell by all the event-less posts that I put on the blog about him.  He's sooooo cute, I can't help myself!

Sara's BAPTISM!!!!

My good friend Sara got baptized!  And I love her soooo much that I made the drive ALL the way to Las Vegas for her.  : )  Of course, I wouldn't have missed it for anything.  It was such a special day!  And I'm so glad that I could be a part of it.

Homemade Farm Mat

I made this!  My super crafty friend Amie came up with the design and I totally copied her.  I think that it turned out really cool.  As soon as I brought it home my kids started playing with it, so that's always a good sign.

Super Bowl Party

For Superbowl Sunday, we headed over to the Weir's house.  They sure know how to throw a party!  We had soooo much fun.  There was great company and lots of good food.  Oh yeah and I think that there was a football game on, too!

crochet headbands

Hey! Check out my new hobby!!! Soooo cute right?! I made each of the girls a red heart one to wear to school on Valentine's Day. And I've already started making some green shamrock ones for the girls to wear on St. Patrick's Day! Thanks Amie for teaching me the art of crocheting!!! I'm totally "hooked" now!

feeding the ducks

For some reason, we had like 8 bags of hamburger buns (even though we are a pretty big family this is still too much for us). What else can you do with soooo many bags of bread, except go feed the ducks! Our first stop was to our local "duck pond" and we were shocked to find that the pond had been drained. No water = no ducks. Next we headed over to our favorite closed down golf course. The grass was all nice and dead, but the water hazards were still full of water and lots of ducks and geese!!!!  In the picture of Shallon and the geese, YES the geese were about the same size as her, kinda scary!
