Character Day

Hey!  It's Princess Aurora and Edward Cullen!!!!

Today was "Character Day," at Floyd Elementary.  Avalyn and Greg participated by dressing up as their favorite story book characters.  I love that they get to participate in these fun spirit days together! And I am super excited for Briley to be able to join in the fun next year!

Random...

Just some random pictures of my still-at-home babies!!!  : )

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

No pinches for the Severts' family! Yep, all of us wore green today.  Even Mommy and Tason, though apparently there are no photos to prove it.  I know what you are thinking, "How the heck are there no photos of Tason?!"  I have no clue how this oversight happened, but I assure you it will NOT happen again!!!!  ; )

ps. Check out Briley's cute hair!  I wanted to make sure that she had some green on for her ballet class.

Re-purposing

Avalyn came up to me after school today all worried about not having anything green to wear to school tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day.  So I totally re-purposed this GREEN tee shirt for Avalyn from one of my old shirts, thanks to my new favorite website!  And I finished it before she went to bed!!!  I feel awesome.  :)

My friend, Amie, and I have been getting together every Wednesday to work on craft projects, so stay tuned for more crafty posts!

Self-feeding...

...well not quite yet, but Tason's sure trying to.   He always wants to hold the spoon, or cup, or bowl.  It makes for some messy meals, but how could we say no to that cute face!

Floyd Movie Night

Tonight was movie night at Greg and Avalyn's school.  It's a great little fundraiser that they do every couple of months.  The movie is free and they sell concessions to raise some money for the school.  Tonight they were showing "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."  We hadn't seen it yet, it was a really cute movie!  We have gone to a couple of movie nights this year, but this was the first time that I remembered to ask someone to take a picture of our family.  Hopefully we will get to go to a couple more next year!

Trampoline

Thank you, Santa!!! Our trampoline has been the best investment for our backyard so far. The kids could jump out there FOREVER.  All the kids love the trampoline, including the biggest kid (pictures of him enjoying the tamp, coming soon).

Major Cutie

Major cutie is right! I just can't get enough of this baby!  And neither can the girls, they always want to hold him and play with him, it's sooo cute.  So here are some pictures of our "Major Cutie"  (check out Tason's awesome shirt).

No more thumb-sucking

So, Shallon is going cold turkey on her thumb-sucking habit.  This morning, she wanted a band-aid on her thumb and all day she's just been looking at it every once-in-a-while, but doesn't suck it.  We will see how she does.  Personally I don't really mind the thumb sucking yet, but her asymmetrical hairstyle is driving me crazy!!!  You see, she likes to pull her hair out while she sucks her thumb, leaving the right side of her hair much shorter than her left side.  Hopefully we can even out her hair without chopping it all off.

Rolling....

Look who's rolling from his back onto his tummy!!!  I guess that he actually did this about a week ago, but now I finally caught it on camera.
