Washington, day 2

While we were on vacation Uncle Matthew asked Greg to play on his indoor soccer team. They had practice once a week at Petrovitsky Park. While they practiced the kids and I played on the nearby playground. We spent a lot of time there and we really liked it!!!


Tason had many opportunities to practice crawling on the wide expanses of beautiful green GRASS!!!

Summer Vacation, part I (Washington)

It's 3 o'clock in the morning, the van is all packed, the kids are buckled and we are on our way to WASHINGTON!!!

New car...

Well with two kids heading off to school with Greg this year, we decided that it was probably time to finally get a second car.  We weren't quite sure if all three could safely or legally ride the moped back and forth to and from school. Greg looked at quite a few clunkers before he found this little cutie on Craigslist.

Library Carnival

The last day of the summer reading group at the library was a super fun carnival!  There was face painting, crafts and some fun water games!  The girls won gift certificates for Subway sandwiches and free passes to the local pool!

4th of July

For the 4th, we headed over to Petrack Park to watch the firework show.  It was a great show as usual and the kids all loved it.  Even Tason, he had a huge grin on his face the whole time!

3rd of July BBQ

We enjoyed a great 3rd of July BBQ over at the Church's home.  We had a great time swimming, eating good food and just hanging out with the whole Church family!

pony rides

Our friends, the Churches, have a pony that Briley and Shallon got to ride during a preschool field trip. Avalyn was feeling a little left out so we went over there today. Annabelle, the pony, was a good sport and all the girls got to ride her.  Thanks Crystal for letting us come over!
