Sunday Morning

Here are some pictures of the girls this morning.
This is the first time that we have been able to get Briley anywhere near Shallon. Briley likes to admire her new baby sister from a distance, with cute little phrase like, "Shallon cute."
Avalyn on the other hand is Shallon's mini-mommy! She wants to constantly hold her and touch her and give her kisses.

I forgot to post Shallon's stats in the last post, so here we go:

Shallon McAllister Severts
was born Friday, September 21st 2007
at 8:13 am.
She weighed in at 7 lbs 8 ozs
and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Congratulations!!! What a way to go! I'm all for natural birth but not like that! Yikes...I love how you said you totally ignored the nurses and pushed anyway...duh, sily nurses, not pushing is like trying to stop a train! Sounds like quite the experience but at least it was over in flash. Shallon is so cute...love the cheeks. And the girls look so cute holding her, Avie especially looks like such the proud older sister. Can't wait to meet the new one!!

Oh, we are so happy for you guys! That is a great story, it made me nervous as I was reading it that you weren't going to make it. I'm pretty sure that we won't be delivering in a car since the hospital is only about 6 blocks away. She is beautiful. When are you going to start trying for that boy though?! Just kidding. Good luck on the recovery.

Oh my goodness. I can't believe you are a mommy to three beautiful little girls. Aren't you still just 17? I found your blog through Michelle's blog and I am so glad I did. It is great to see your family and to read all about how life is going for you. Sounds like you have a very happy life and a wonderful family. I am so glad for you. Your little girls remind me so much of me only of course mine were boys. Even the delivery of baby number three is the same. Didn't think I was in labor because with the first two the doctor broke my water. With Gordon he came all on his own. From first pain to birth in an hour. "Don't push, don't push," as their wheeling me down the hall and the baby is coming out all on his own. Isn't life grand! Now that baby is two months from being done with his mission. Talk about a lifetime ago.
It was just so great to see your blog and to see you. Oh, Catherine said you stopped by Liberty last year but she didn't know for sure it was you so she didn't say anything. She is in her second year on the Drill Team. I swore I would never let her be a driller after living next to Halberg's and knowing what a commitment it is. But she loves it and is very good at it. I'll have to send you some pictures. Love to keep in touch.
