Utah, here we come...

Here we are in the car, again. On our way to Utah this time, to visit more friends and family. The girls were such troopers. Once again, they were amazing, entertaining themselves and each other! If they keep this up, we might have to go on road trips more often! :)

Best Friends

One of the very best parts of going home to Washington is getting to spend time with my Best Friend, Kristin!!! I hate living sooo far away from her. Kristin, I miss you already!!! Come visit me!

10-year high school reunion

Greg came with me to my 10-year high school reunion. It was fun to see old friends and catch-up with each other. I wish that I would have taken more pictures, oh well, next time. :)

10-year reunion playdate

We planned our summer vacation up to Washington so, that I would be able to go to my 10-year high school reunion while we were there. This morning there was a playdate at a local park for anyone that wanted to come. There was a pretty good turn out. It was really fun to catch-up with a smaller group and watch our kids play with some of my classmate's kids.

While we were in Washington, the girls got to play in the GRASS, a lot! We will definitely miss it, when we get back home.

Ferry ride...

So, every time that we come to Seattle, we like to ride the ferry. Not because we have anywhere that we need to go, just for the fun of it, then we come right back. The girls loved riding on the "big boat."

Woodland Park Zoo, part 3

So Briley, aka "little mommy", can not get enough of babies! She just loves them and wants to be right next to them, touching them, all the time!! It's sooo cute!!! Here she is with her cousin, Grace, who is 9 months old. And a scrapbook page I did for a Speed Scrap @ Scrapmatters.com. Then a cute little group cousin picture, from the Combs side of the family.

Woodland Park Zoo, part 1

Of all the things that we did on vacation, we took the most pictures here at the zoo. So be prepared for picture overload and we will try to just pick a few of our favorites.

On a side note, I (Amber) am not a big fan of scenery pictures. I like snap-shots of loved ones, so you won't see any animal pictures. Just pictures of my family looking at the animals. And if the animals actually make it into the shot then great, but if they don't, oh well. I hope that you don't mind zoo pictures without animals.

We went to the zoo with Amber's brother, Matthew, and his family. They have season passes, so we got in for half-price! And we stayed for like 5+ hours, so we definitely got our money's worth.

Just some pictures of all my hard work!!! And let me tell you it is HARD work getting the girls hair to look like this! But well worth it for a final product like this (someday the girls will agree with me , right?!?!)...





























No after pictures of Shallon, probably because she fell asleep with her hair still up. Not the most comfortable hairstyle for sleeping that's for sure!

In the car again...

Ok, we have been in the car a lot this vacation. Luckily our girls can sleep anywhere (we have trained them well)! :) Here's a great example; our sweet Briley catching a little nap in the car while we are out and about.
