Skate Zone

Greg took us to Skate Zone tonight so that he could sign-up for the hockey league. And he wanted to skate around a little to practice. When the girls saw Greg skating they had to skate too. I couldn't find any skates Briley's size, but we did find some for Avalyn. She was a little scared, but for the most part I think she really had fun, especially for her first time. Having her friend Ali there helped, too. I took the pictures with my phone, so they are a little blurry.

Greg took Briley around a few times to make it up to her, since there weren't skates for her.

At preschool we had the kids write out the letters using their bodies. Not only did the kids have a blast, but it made some cute pictures. Here are A and Z.

The Fair

Our good friends from Utah; Dave, Lisa and Mason Long; came to visit us here in Pahrump. They came at a good time, there happened to be a fair in town for the weekend.

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny (Daddy) left some eggs on the back patio, for the girls to find before church.

He also left some presents for the girls to find.

The Easter Bunny left some new t-shirts for Avalyn.

And he left a bubble-blower for Briley.

The Ocean

Grammy and Grandad planned a fun filled Spring-Break weekend in San Diego. It was the girls first time at the ocean, and they loved every second of it.

Briley's hair is finally long enough to put in her very first ponytail.

Our new nephew, Luke, was born today. This is Ryan and Lindsay's second son. Here's a picture of Tucker checking out his new brother, a super cute picture of Luke, and a picture of the whole cute family!

Today was picture day at Preschool. I know that she's only 3 years old, but her first school pictures, it feels like she's growing up too fast. These super cute pictures were taken in one of the teacher front yards with her digital camera. Didn't they turn out really good?

Super Tired

So Briley fell asleep during lunch. I guess I should get her on a regular nap schedule. :)

Rides

We can't walk past a coin-operated ride without the girls begging for a ride. This one was at a mall in Las Vegas. At least we got away with a two-for-one ride, since the girls were actually okay with sharing.

Dip-it

Death Valley.

We took a little day trip to Death Valley. The girls slept the whole way and woke up just for these pictures. We drove all the way to the Death Valley Museum and then we got hungry, so we turned around and headed home.

Autumn Leaves

The day that we had our family photos taken, Briley was a little distracted by all the leaves. In between photos, she was running around throwing leaves over her head like it was a big party!

She was smiling the whole time (except when it was family picture time of course).

Santa, baby!

At our ward Christmas party, the girls had a chance to see Santa and sit on his lap.
Avalyn told Santa that she wanted a "pink car with purple keys" (and the search began).

Happy Birthday to mommy!

Greg made me birthday brownies and we used the left over decorations from the girls' birthday party in August. It was a good birthday.

Rock Collecting

The girls love collecting rocks around our apartment. And with no sidewalks or pavement to be seen, there is a never-ending supply of rocks.
